About Jazeera Airways
- The airline is the first and only privately owned airline in Kuwait and the Middle East, and one of the few airlines in the Middle East built on a low-fares business model.
- Jazeera Airways started operation on 30 October 2005 with a fleet of 6 brand new Airbus A320s (and now 34 on order), all leather seats, flying to the Middle East’s most popular destinations for both business and leisure.
- In 2008 Jazeera will be flying 1.8 million passengers to Alexandria, Amman, Assiut, Beirut, Bahrain, Istanbul, Damascus, Delhi, Luxor, Mashhad and Mumbai from its two hubs in Kuwait and Dubai.
