When you book with Avis, you have the opportunity of making your rental CarbonNeutral for just £ 1.00 or €1.50. This amount will cover the cost of planting enough trees in a long term woodland to soak up the carbon dioxide produced by your car rental.
This is part of Avis’ programme to care for the environment which we have developed with The CarbonNeutral Company. So far, Avis, its staff and customers have planted over 200,000 trees to fight global warming.
We change the rental fleet approximately every six months, ensuring that vehicles are at the optimum level of efficiency. Over the last ten years, a typical Avis rental car has improved fuel consumption by 15% and now achieves some of the highest European standards for lower emissions.
